History – Hotel Getsemani
Getsemani Hotel is located only three blocks from the main square, where all the activities, restaurants and cultural places get together to enhance the beauty and magic of this town. The name “Getsemani” comes from the orchard where Jesus Christ prayed for last time, this was the founder’s inspiration to open the Getsemani Hotel doors in Villa de Leyva – Colombia in 1994.
The design concept of the hotel was inspired by the unique perfection of the olive trees that surround the rooms and the gardens but also, the Mediterranean weather that characterized this part of Colombia.
The ELEA SPA was opened in 2006, in order to offer to our clients the most blissfully experience giving unique services as humid zone and all type of massages for all needs and preferences. In May of the 2008, to become a committed and more competitive organization, we were certified as a tree stars hotel by fulfilling all the requirements stated by the norm NTSH006, Good Practices of manufacture BPM, Human Resource and effective legal requirements with the implementation of the quality management.
